10 Day Forecast and Tropical Outlook

Moisture levels continue to increase across the are as noted over SW Louisiana. Deep tropical moisture will arrive overnight through Tuesday with on and off rain and a few thunderstorms. Still looking at 2-4 inches with isolated heavier totals especially near the coast. A Tropical Cyclone may still form well to our south and stay well south. Back to normal summer coverages by Thursday as the tropical moisture plume moves west.

Forecasted rain totals from Monday through Wednesday still look to be in the range from 2-4 inches with isolated heavier totals especially near the coast.
