Betty Jo Capps of Buna 1938 - 2024

Betty Jo Capps, 85, of Buna, Texas passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, in Silsbee, Texas.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the services.

Betty was born Dec. 26, 1938 in Buna to Perry and Artie McGalin and was a lifelong resident of Buna.

She was preceded in death by he her husband, Alvie Capps; sisters, Laverne Jordan and Willie Mae Jeans; and a brother, Larry Ray McGalin.

Survivors include her three children, Sharon Rebecca Jackson of Buna, Malcom Fuselier Sr. & Theresa of Buna, and David Berwick & Lisa of Orange; a sister, Imogene Burton of Dallas; grandchildren, Cassandra Alford, Michael Jackson, Tanya Sims, Diana Fuselier, Jimmy Payne, Malcom Fuselier Jr., Joanna Willison, Felicia Johnson, Samantha Fuselier, Ethan Berwick, and Amaris Bridges; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces/nephews.
