Forrest McDowell III April 3, 1961 - May 20, 2024

Forrest McDowell, III, 63, of Ivanhoe, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital in Katy, Texas.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Forrest was born April 3, 1961 to Joseph Forrest, Jr. and Connie Marie Morris McDowell in Memphis, Tennessee. A former resident of Kerrville, he had lived in Woodville for the past 14 years. Forrest had worked as a job superintendent with FM Associates and in his free time he enjoyed horticulture.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie McDowell.

He is survived by his father, Joseph Forrest McDowell, Jr. of Ivanhoe; brother Christopher McDowell of Ivanhoe; and nephew Sean McDowell of Reno, NV.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
