Lena Davis June 15, 1966 - July 29, 2024

Lena Davis, 58, of Woodville, formerly of Warren, Texas passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at The Orchard Assisted Living Center in Woodville, Texas.

Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with burial following at Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger. Officiating will be Brother Ed King. Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Brown, Seth Brown, Steven Lumpkin, Andrew Lumpkin, Keith Buckner, and John Foxworth.

Lena was born June 15, 1966 to Harold Thomas and Melnee Fay Jones Davis in Woodville, Texas. A 1983 graduate of Warren High School, she had worked for several years in their family’s business, Davis Grocery in Warren. Lena enjoyed watching sports and doing needlepoint. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Melnee Davis.

She is survived by her brother, Randy Davis and wife Debbie of Warren; nephew, Clay Brown and wife Trish of Warren; niece, Brittany Lumpkin and husband Steven of Katy; great niece and nephews, Mikayla Brown, Seth Brown and Andrew Lumpkin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
