Penny Marie Wilkinson December 15, 1970 - May 23, 2024

Penny Marie Wilkinson, 53, of Fred, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church in Fred.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at First Pentecostal Church in Fred, with Brother Vance Cawley officiating. Burial will follow at Fred Community Cemetery in Fred. Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Williams, J.T. Williams, Sam Williams, Dustin Goodwin, Justin Moffett, and Robert Beech. Honorary pallbearers will be John Corley, Johnathan Harris, Gordon Beech, Dalton Wilkinson, Darrly Jackson, James Beech and Edward Beech.

Penny was born December 15, 1970 to Jessie Lee Freeman, Sr. and Francis Marie Fry Freeman in Woodville, Texas and was a longtime native of Fred. Penny enjoyed and loved camping, fishing, and all kinds of racing. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Penny said, “If you can’t say something good, don’t say anything at all.”

She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Lee Freeman, Sr.; her sister, Melissa Ann Freeman; and her brother, David Paul Williams.

She is survived by her husband of 4 years, Dale Beech of Fred; sons, Timothy Jeremiah Wilkinson and his wife, Larissa of Fred, and Patrick Jackson and his wife, Amanda of Woodville; daughter, Brandilyn Nicole Beech and her husband, Robert of Kennard; brothers, Jessie Lee “Peter” Freeman, Jr. of Fred, and William Eli Freeman and his wife, Jeanette of Fred; sister, Dinah Williams of Kennard; and numerous grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
