Silas Ray Fuqua March 3, 1940 - June 25, 2024

Silas Ray Fuqua, 84, of Colmesneil, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at his residence.

Silas was born March 3, 1940 to James and Alice Fuqua in Silsbee, Texas. He was retired from Southwest Chemical.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice Fuqua; wife of 58 years, Celia Varnelle Fuqua; brother, Douglas Fuqua; sister, Joyce Marie Courville and great granddaughter, Zoe Jones.

He is survived by his sons, James Ray Fuqua and wife Charlotte, and Paul Alan Fuqua all of League City; grandchildren, Amy Fuqua, Travis Fuqua, and Deborah Fuqua; and great grandchildren, Kailyn Fuqua and Willow Jones.

Cremation services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
