Tyler County asks residents to prepare for upcoming heavy rains

Tyler County Emergency Management has asked residents to prepare for the upcoming rain. "We are expecting heavy rains to begin in our area Tuesday. In preparation, we are having sand and sand bags available at the following places: Spurger VFD, Dam B VFD, Fred VFD, Ivanhoe VFD, Warren VFD (old building near post office) and Woodville City Park. Please begin making preparations this weekend for the heavy rainfall. Be watchful of the weather and we will update you more beginning Sunday evening."
