Tyler County Emergency Management: Be Aware of Shifting Water Levels

Voluntary evacuation is strongly advised for the areas of Rockland, Fox Landing, Mt. Neches, Barlow, and Sheffield's Ferry due to the rising Neches River levels. The Tyler County Emergency Management Office urges individuals to be aware of shifting water levels for their safety. Although the rain has passed, we are still expecting higher levels due to the water flowing from our northern neighbors.

An evacuation shelter has been established at Colmesneil Gym in Colmesneil, Texas. Contact the Tyler County Sheriff's Office at 409-283-2172 for evacuation assistance. It is crucial to take precautionary measures to ensure your safety and the safety of your loved ones.

Please make pre-arrangements for pets and animals.
